We offer three flexible learning options to best suit your child’s needs:
- Home Tuition: Tailored for children who are home-schooled and not attending a traditional school. Our experienced tutors provide structured, personalised lessons in the comfort of your home. Available Monday to Friday, between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
- Tuition at Our Centres: For families who prefer a focused learning environment, we offer tuition sessions at our fully-equipped education centre. A great option for face-to-face support and group learning opportunities. Face to face from 11:30am to 1:30pm, The Ursuline Academy Ilford, IG1 4JU & From 3pm to 5pm At: The Campion School, RM11 3BX.
- Online Tuition: For greater convenience and flexibility, we offer online tuition sessions. Perfect for busy families or those outside our local area, our online classes run Monday to Friday, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM.

Local tutor with years of experience
Home Tuitions started offering tutoring to students in England in 1997 working from home. Over the years due to our success we have been able to expand and begin to run classes from The Ursuline Academy Ilford, IG1 4JU and also from The Campion School, RM11 3BX.
We run weekend classes for students of all ages, from Reception right up to GCSE (also known as early years to year 11). Our highly qualified staff cover all of the essential subjects; Maths, English and Science. On Saturday, the classes run from 11:30am to 1:30pm in Ilford and 3pm to 5pm at our Romford branch.
During the classes students will be also provided with a 5 to 10 minute break halfway through tuition (after 1 hour) and will be offered water, orange squash, fresh fruit and cookies which will vary from day to day. Class sizes are no more than 6, meaning we have the ability to work very closely with the students.
Our tutoring Approach
We believe each tutee is different and needs a different learning strategy to overcome his/her learning difficulty or to improve their performance. We help our students master the task or overcome the problem by demonstrating to them, as it is vital for our tutees to solve similar problems and complete the task independently by adapting the method taught them.
Our teaching style is based on a five-step development process: creating awareness, collecting data, choosing innovation, implementing a plan, reviewing results.
What makes us different from the other tuition centres is that all our subject teachers are fully qualified and experienced in their subject and they all have full command regarding the common core skills. As you would expect, they are all DBS/CRB checked.

I, Rajni Joshi, the managing director of Home Tuitions, have got over 25 years of teaching experience and my enthusiasm for teaching is forever growing. I have a vision and a strong desire that every child should be given an opportunity to excel in their childhood..... in my teaching career I have seen my students excel, whether they were slow to learn to begin with , but showed vast improvement, or be it, my students were good learners to begin with, but vastly improved further with my continuous teaching.
